I can't say these are awful, but they are very obviously inferior amd not just a little. My Shark vacuum lost a significant amount of suction power, but it is all functional and does still work. I'd rather have paid for the actual Shark replacement parts than lose the suction power that I have. They do work though, and fit properly. I guess it comes down to personal choice and how often you use it and for what you use it. Between 2 dogs and 4 cats AND 4 teenage boys, mine is used quite frequently, so the suction power does end up meaning a lot.
Was initially impressed, but after only 4 uses whatever adhesive they use to glue the felt roller on is coming off and so is the felt. Tried emailing mfg and was informed by amazon there email was not working.UPDATE, Mfg saw my email to Amazon and furnished a replacement which I just received today. I have used onceand will update again after a few uses, but excellent customer service with this mfg. I have now used the replacement roller many times, and it works just like the one from Shark. Excellent customer service as well. I will buy again.
I am very picky about the replacement filters I use in my Shark IonFlex Duo Clean IF250 vacuum cleaner because I once bought inferior filters and they did not fit correctly. I felt like I had to force the filter door closed and it just isn't worth breaking the motor on an expensive vacuum cleaner. Filters are NOT the place to cheap out.I gave this set a try because I was intrigued by the included replacement soft brush head. I've never seen one included in a set before.The Brush roller fits perfectly edge to edge although I did notice it wasn't quite as thick as the OEM brush it was replacing. It still cleaned my carpets and bare floors well, but I won't how much it might miss when the filters start to get a little dirtier and it relies more heavily on the rollers than the suction to remove carpet debris.This kit includes:- 4 Foam Felt Filters - Brush to clean out the dust in the filter housing with a seam ripper type cutter on the other end to remove hairs from the brush heads.- 2 HEPA Filter- 1 Replacement DuoClean Roller HeadFinal thoughts:I think it is an excellent filter set for the price and I would have rated it five stars if had it included two more HEPA filters. The HEPA filter is the center price that holds the foam filters and gets just as dirty as they do if not more. However, unlike the foam filters surrounding it, it is not washable.I usually just toss the entire assembly out when changing filters, so it seemed odd that only two were included in this otherwise, well thought out kit. I’ve had this vacuum for a while and had never changed the filters, just washed the foam one. It kept overheating quickly so I googled it and it said to replace the filter. What a difference it made. I should had done it a long time ago. I haven’t used the roller yet so I can’t say how it works but the filters work great.
